[Tutorial] CyanogenMod 10.1 on Smasung i9001 Galaxy S plus

Today I have installed the CyanogenMod 10.1 on a i9001 because its official update stops on 2.3.6 a release of 2011, quite old! Congratulations to Samsung for their long support on old device! Anyway, this is the step to install CyanogenMod 10.1:

1) install feamod 1.2 (recovery) using odin http://www.androidiani.com/forum/samsung-galaxy-s-plus-modding/99082-guida-recovery-odin-installare-recovery-feamod.html

2) now you need a sdcard, 1gb was enough for me

3) install ClockWorkMod (update recovery) http://www.androidiani.com/forum/samsung-galaxy-s-plus-modding/233716-recovery-clockworkmod-cwm-unofficial-porting.html

4) download ROM, kernel and gapps from here http://www.androidiani.com/forum/samsung-galaxy-s-plus-modding/308361-rom-jb-4-2-2-jdq39e-cyanogenmod-10-1-adc-team.html

5) (WaRNING!! this delete all data on your device ) wipe system, wipe data, wipe cache, wipe Dalvik-cache

5) go to recovery mode and install from sd in the order ROM, gapps, kernel

6) fix permission

key combination for recovery mode:

with USB inserted  press “Vol + ” and “Power button” until appears Samsung logo than release!
