Officially OSX doesn’t support pfb and pfm fonts, however, adobe applications like for example Illustrator allow to use this font. To use this font you must place the font file insider the folder
this folder usually doesn’t exist and you have to create it!
Latex ignore space after command, so could happen you have to force it, for example
and the you have to use:
with a \ (backslash) after your command in the text.

and you can also write axis label in latex mode, for example in MATLAB code you can write
